BooksForMe.com is a division of Dale Pike Products based in the state of Massachusetts, USA. They have been operating on the web since July 1999.
BooksForMe is a "home based business" run from the home of Dale Pike and his family. Dale is an authorized dealer for the Create-A-Book company. The books are distributed in whole by Create-A-Book based in the state of Colorado, USA. The personalized information software is what creates the personalized stories for each title. It is included in the "Dealer's Kit" provided with an authorized dealership. The books are printed in quality laser printing and prepared by hand. Some even offer interactive 'personalized' stickers to go with the story. The personalized information required to make a "Create-A-Book" is your child's first and last name, along with the names of their friends, and sometimes their hometown, too. Once Dale receives this personalized information, he is able to enter this into his home computer and out pops the pages of the book ready to be assembled with their counterparts. They are designed to "instill the desire to read" in your child. Some are given just for the sole reason that they are a unique one-of-a-kind gift. Others are given in hopes of improving a child's reading ability and comprehension. BooksForMe.com has proven it is possible to succeed with a "home based business" both online and off.
